If you use your factory Mercedes hitch for recovery, or run close to the 500lb tongue weight limit, you're risking deforming and damaging the rear of the chassis.
The design of the factory hitch and the way it attaches to the rear of the chassis causes a great amount of leverage in a small area of the frame.
These brackets spread that load another 2feet down the frame across multiple strong locations.
These require drilling and are located in the rear where many up fitters have accessory's. SO PLEASE WATCH THE INSTALL VIDEO BEFORE PURCHASE OR FITMENT QUESTIONS.
these only fit 2019+ vs30 sprinter 2500 vans with the OEM hitch.
No rear hitch accessories that utilize the side mounting holes of the hitch will be compatible with these. for example rear steps.
